Jnr Cloud Engineer (Azure, AWS) (Permanent)

Location: Birmingham Country: UK Rate: £30k - 40k per annum, Benefits: Hybrid Working
 
Junior Cloud Engineer

The location is Birmingham, West Midlands with remote/hybrid working (weekly travel to offices)

Jumar have partnered with a market-leading software company in the West Midlands that deliver solutions into the Financial Services industry, and we are keen to speak to UK based, Junior Cloud Engineer's to help support significant business growth.

Our client is growing their Cloud team to stay ahead of the market and to meet client demands. The successful candidate will be part of our client's strategic vision of moving to a Cloud-based offering for clients, developing automated deployments internally and externally and enhancing their internal offering.

Ideal experience -
  • Min 2-3 years experience of MS Azure, AWS and Private Clouds to build, test, and support a range of applications and series
  • Min 2-3 years experience of System administration and configuration management skills within an AWS and Azure environment
  • Experience and knowledge of: VMware, Windows Server and SQL Server, Security standards such as ISO 27001, Cloud migrations & Integration, Proxy services, Infrastructure upgrades
  • An ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Experience working on technical projects within a team
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating system
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools
