User Researcher - Contract (Outside IR35) (Contract)
Location: Remote Country: UK Rate: £450/day Outside IR35
My client are a large global consulting firm and are seeking a User Researcher - Contract (6months) to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research activities, including but not limited to interviews, usability testing, and surveys, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to integrate user research findings into the design and development process.
- Plan and execute usability studies, ensuring alignment with GDS standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define research goals, create research plans, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of user personas, user journey maps, and other user-centered design artifacts.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in user research and incorporate best practices into our processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a User Researcher, preferably with a focus on GDS projects.
- Strong understanding of GDS service standards and the ability to apply them in research activities.
- Proficiency in planning, conducting, and analysing various user research methods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate and present research findings to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as UserZoom, Optimal Workshop, or similar user research platforms.
