Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our team, working on a project with a leading Global Investment Bank. As a key contributor, you will play an essential role in building a team for a brand new trading floor, focusing on exotic trades across Europe and some of Asia, specifically in Foreign Exchange (FX).

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage your expertise in Back End software engineering, particularly with Python, to lead and inspire your team.

• Act as a trusted authority and specialist, providing advice and guidance to team members and managers.

• Collaborate with a team of software engineers to identify and prioritize improvements.

• Take ownership of tech decisions and balance speed, quality, and functionality.

Technical Skills:

• Python, Web API, ORM.

• Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

• Azure PaaS services (App Services, Function Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Azure Storage, Key Vaults, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure AD).

• Experience with Webservices, Web API, Swagger, Postman, and Microsoft APIM.

• Agile delivery environment experience.
