DevOps & DevSecOps Engineer (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: £600 - £650 per day
 

DevOps X2 & DevSecOps Engineer X1

£650 Inside IR35

London/Hybrid - 3x Days A Week

6 Month Initial Contract

Sanderson is currently engaged with a Londons Market insurer who require 2x DevOps Engineer and 1x DevSecOps Engineer for a migration from on-prem to Off-prem cloud solution.

Azure DevOps, Terraform, Entra ID, Group Policy, Azure Active Directory, IAC

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Deploying software/infrastructurte using Azure DevOps pipelines or alternative CI/CD tooling
  • Branching and merging strategies within Azure DevOps/Git
  • Experience with using Infrastructure-as-code technologies to deploy compute in Microsoft Azure
  • An ability to architect, define, defend, and drive technical infrastructure and application decisions and initiatives
  • Good understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery and test automation and its application
  • Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban
  • Microsoft Azure ecosystem
  • Azure DevOps
  • Entra ID
  • Group Policy
  • Azure Active Directory Admin
  • Microsoft SQL server deployments
  • DevSecOps concepts, eg Continuous integration, automated testing, infrastructure-as-code, container deployments, cloud technologies
  • Working with cloud platforms and cloud automation tools (eg Terraform/Chef/Puppet/Azure ARM/Bicep templates)
  • Working with software containers (eg Docker) and continuous integration tools
  • Performance monitoring of underlying infrastructure and application technologies
  • Azure Active Directory
