Technical Writer - Contract - Hybrid working - £competitive
Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Technical Writer to work at a leading global consultancy client, on behalf of a customer in the public sector, on a contract basis.
The successful candidate would be working in a strategic role, taking responsibility for a business-critical product and demonstrating excellent skills with technical content.
They will be required to support the creation and development of strategical blueprints, defining strategies, manage technical resources, and also engage with a number of stakeholders across the business.
Experience required:
- A strong background in Technical writing, with skills in the design and management of technical content.
- Ability to pick up a technical requirement and take ownership of the product being delivered
- Strong authoring experience and the ability to produce documents and blueprints that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Previous experience in the public sector would be highly desirable, as well as an understanding of government design standards (ideally GDS).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work both as a team player, but also to work independently when required
- Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo a certain level of security clearance (SC).
