Python Developer - SC C (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £500 - £600 per day

Duration: 10 Months
Start: ASAP
Location: 3 days onsite in London (Whitechapel)
Rate: £600 per day
IR35 Status: Inside

We are currently looking for a Python Developer for one of our government clients to come and join their team.

This role is required an active SC clearance.

Essential:


Experience building applications using Python. 
Working knowledge of the Django web framework.
Working knowledge of Docker and containerisation
Working knowledge of git and GitHub
Experience of deploying and maintaining applications using AWS, including the AWS command line
Experience of working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
Working in an Agile environment
Great team working skills.
Flexibility and willingness to pick up and work on a variety of development problems

Desirable:

Deploying applications and infrastructure using infrastructure as code, using either the Python CDK or other infrastructure as code products
Experience of building and maintaining REST APIs, including appropriate approaches to authentication and authorisation.
Linux, including system administration and Shell Scripting.
An understanding of what DNS is and its role in enabling the operation of the Internet.
