Software Architect - Software Defined Radio Platforms (DSP, L1) (Contract)
Location: Cambridgeshire Country: UK Rate: £60 - £65 per hour + Inside IR35, negotiable, hybrid
Contract Software Architect role required for a leading edge client in Cambridgeshire.
Initially this will be for 6 months - to start ASAP (it will then extend and follow on long term as the Proof of Concept is realised and the project becomes a long term development)
The client is needing someone who has experience in architecting/optimising Software Defined Radio platforms (as used for O-RAN) used for cellular communication systems.
In terms of cellular communications knowledge it would be useful to have experience at some of the lower layers of the protocol stack (ie L2, including DSP and L1)
Needs to be based on the client site 2 - 3 days per week, rest is from home, inside IR35.
