Are you an experienced IT Network Manager looking for your next challenge?

My financial services client has a fantastic opportunity for you to join their established team in a brand-new role. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing company with flexibility on location and exciting projects to work on.

In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and management of a robust network infrastructure across multiple UK locations. You'll collaborate with managed network suppliers and ensure the smooth operation of data networks. Your strategic vision will help shape network-related projects and support business growth.

Key Duties:

• Design and implement a resilient and secure network infrastructure
• Monitor network performance and resolve issues promptly
• Manage DNS records and oversee domain migrations
• Managing relationships with third-party vendors
• Provide 3rd line technical support for network-related escalations
• Identify and address Legacy technology to improve network performance

Key Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of CISCO and Fortinet technologies
• Experience with networking technologies such as SD-WAN, MPLS, and VPLS
• Proven track record of successfully delivering IT network projects
• Experience managing network integrations during acquisitions and leading successful migrations
• Demonstrated experience in domain management and handling DNS configurations, including setting up, migrating, and maintaining DNS records
• Experience in incident management, with a strong background in providing third-line support for resolving escalated network issues
• Proactive problem-solving and effective communication skills

Desirable:

• Networking certifications (such as CCNA, CCNP) or other equivalent qualifications, experience in financial services, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
