As the GBS organisation continues to grow and accommodates more, we are expanding our services into new area where we start to provide accounting, reporting and control services to our JV partners. The new team will be supporting one of our Joint Venture (JV) partners, operating one of the major offshore fields. The team would be completely ring-fenced and work together with representatives from the JV to provide end-to-end accounting, reporting and control services.

Accounting, Reporting&Control Senior Analyst
(acting as external service provider)
In this role You will:
Operate and maintain end to end month/quarter/year end close processes in a timely and accurate manner for complex or difficult accounting areas requiring extensive experience to ensure the correct reporting and accounting treatment.
Resolution of issues and queries may require reference to the applicable accounting poicies and/or working closely with Business/Country teams supported.
Actively participate in and support segment reporting/external/group audits related to the supported country/region as the need arises.
Carry out regular daily/weekly/monthly activities in a timely and accurate manner for complex or difficult accounting areas.
Drive process improvements of a notable nature across the team and work with the relevant people to put these in place. This includes taking a leading role in implementing changes in processes and tools.
Work with the Business teams supported to ensure mutual understanding of all accounting entries and follow up on queries.
Resolve queries and issues as they arise with reference to relevant resources such as the applicable accounting policies, working with the Business teams or other support.
What You will need to be successful:
Proven experience in finance areas such as group reporting, general accounting, cash&banking, or payment processes.
Demonstrate strong analytical and system thinking skills, coupled with solid financial knowledge.
Fluent in English.
Exhibit a high level of analytical skills, numeracy, and financial understanding.
Maintain a customer- and service-oriented attitude.
Display readiness for action and thrive in pressure-filled environments.
Project self-confidence in interactions with internal and external contacts.
Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
Demonstrate assertiveness in various situations.
