Job Summary Trane Intelligent Services (TIS) is a strategic growth initiative that will transform Trane's $2 billion global services business and enable new high value service offerings and internal productivity gains. This position will lead the identification and development of the applications and user interface necessary to deliver the growth and productivity goals for this initiative and establish the product and system features to enable Trane equipment and systems to be differentiated and enhanced by TIS functionality.

The successful candidate will be a strong business leader that will lead the product management team to create new TIS offerings field productivity tools to drive increased revenues and operational productivity using the Trane Intelligent Services platform. Candidate would be responsible for creating and managing the over TIS platform vision, offering sets and business plans that guide the overall platform to best meet our customer's needs.


. Lead a team of Product Managers, ensure alignment between various initiatives, and develop the capabilities of the team.

. Multi-Generational Product Plan and Business Plan development

. Must work closely with global regional businesses to develop global service offerings

. Participate in the development of product & service strategy to assure alignment with other businesses

. Determine needs of internal and external customers by conducting VOC & VOB activities

. Monitor market trends and analyze competitive product offerings

. Define new product requirements and value propositions

. Support new service development, including project initiation, reviews and business cases

. Define and lead product commercialization activities including sales tools, training, promotional materials, etc...

. Establish and maintain service pricing guidelines

. Create and maintain product sales forecasts and new product phase in/phase out plans

. Monitor service offering performance and maintain service scorecard to report to business

. Price, Volume, Share and Margin management


. 8-10 years business experience

. 5 year of field experience in a verity of roles (Equipment, BAS or Service technician, leadership or management)

. Bachelor degree required; masters a plus

. Relevant industry experience, HVAC Service preferred

. Experience managing offers through new product development and commercialization

. Experience with HVAC equipment and/or unit controllers a strong plus

. Management experience in a team environment a plus

. Positive customer service attitude
